Does the PrimeTest 50 test IT equipment?
The PrimeTest 50 can test IT equipment, as long as the IT equipment to be tested has a CE mark and has been tested to BS EN 60950, which states that the equipment can withstand a dielectric strength test of 1500V r.m.s.
The 5th Edition version of the PrimeTest 50 (5th Edition logo on the front of the tester) has a 250V and 500V Insulation Resistance test option and can therefore test all IT equipment.
